What level should your child be enrolled in?
If your child is a new swimmer (who has never been enrolled in our classes): Level tests are organised during the month of June
If your child is a new swimmer and has not had the opportunity to take part in the level tests: It will then be necessary to use the level description on our website.
If your child has already taken part in the Cesame swimming course: It is strongly advised to register the swimmer in the course level communicated by the instructor at the time of the end-of-year certificate.
- If your child is a member of the ESB Octopus team: Registration in the group that corresponds to his/her swimming level, but can access the ESB1 and ESB2 levels once he/she has completed level 7. ESB levels are reserved for Octopus team members only.
- If your child is a classic swimmer: Registration in the group that corresponds to his/her swimming level. Once the level 7 is reached, the instructors will set more personalized objectives in order to guarantee a linear and adapted evolution.
It is important to understand that the level 1/2/3/4 groups are generally attended by younger children.
If your child is already of an 'advanced' age and wants to start swimming, it's important that they are aware that they will be with children younger than them.
If this is a problem, it would be more comfortable for them to take part in private lessons first before joining group classes.
In order to create groups that are as homogeneous as possible, we strongly suggest that you take into account the information given by the instructors at the time of the certificate or test. Any change of level will be done within the limits of available places!
If a swimmer is enrolled in a course for which the level is not suitable, Cesame reserves the right to change the swimmer's group according to the remaining places and in consultation with the parents. If there is no availability to make a change, the registration is cancelled and a fee is due.
It is forbidden to register your child in a course and on a waiting list in the same time

If a place becomes available, we will automatically get back to you by phone or e-mail.
