TRANSPORT EEB1
This service only concerns children from EEB1 Uccle
Important information
The children benefit from the Uccle transport service, which includes the swimming pools on the way to the activity. There are therefore no additional buses specifically set up for this purpose. There is no return transport from the pools to school or home.
Pupils from the Uccle European School who are not registered for school transport and who wish to use this service to go to the swimming pool must register for transport (fill in and return to the swimming department the Transport form and pay a fee of 160€.
The bus number going to each swimming pool will be provided to you at the beginning of the year (see here). If this bus is different from the one your child usually takes, the transport service will make the change directly in your account based on the attendance lists.
There is no bus service on Wednesdays.
Students must be at least 8 years old to use the buses going to the swimming pools, unless accompanied by an older sibling, and provided that Cesame's office has been informed. This is because we consider that children under this age may not be able to handle unforeseen situations on their own.
**No transport is provided from other European school sites (including Berkendael) to the swimming pools. However, you can check with your school’s transport service to see if any buses pass by the swimming pool of your choice.
A coach/instructor will be waiting for the children at the bus stop and will accompany them to the entrance of the pool (Instructors remain at the pool for a maximum of 15 minutes after the end of the class).
At the school site:
We do not accompany students from their classrooms to the buses. They must be able to make their way there independently.
Feel free to inform your child’s teacher so they can guide them to the exit of the class.
For any information regarding the location or delay of a bus, children should go to the entrance of Chaussée de Waterloo or speak to the supervisors wearing yellow or orange vests.
