Emergency evacuation of the bus
In order to evacuate the bus quickly, you must follow a specific procedure (see image below) :
A
- Stay calm and follow the instructions given by the driver or bus supervisor.
- Leave everything on the bus!
- Everyone must exit through the nearest available exit door. Never move towards the back of the bus!
B
- All passengers seated next to the aisle exit first, using a “zipper” or alternating system.
- When leaving the vehicle, passengers exit alternately on the left and right. Do not jump!
- Passengers seated by the window move one seat over.
C
- As everyone seated on the aisle side moves towards the front, those seated by the window can stand up and exit, starting from the back of the bus.
- The driver remains on the bus until everyone else has exited.
D
- Go to the designated assembly point and do not cross the road.
- Never go back towards the bus!
Once you have left the bus, stay together in a safe area indicated by the bus supervisor or the driver.
